The new look easy to read design provides personalized information addressed to companies, associations, institutions and net users who want to become part of this initiative.

Users can receive periodic updates on the website through their email accounts and a newsletter. 

The web is already available in Galicia and Spanish, and an English version will soon follow.

 

New generic domains application process.

ICANN recently issued a statement on the state of the current difficulties which hinder the opening of the new gTLDs process. These include trademark protection and the Internet's security and stability. The talks will continue throughout summer.

ICANN estimates that applications will be accepted some time in the first quarter of 2010, which could mean the opening of the process.
